Specialising in bespoke quality furniture including, sofas, chairs, barstools and headboards, we are ideally located to serve the whole of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicester and Yorkshire, also catering for the whole of the UK.
With our combined expertise, we offer superb quality products from our catalogue of furniture and also specialise in customers’ own designs and styles, offering bespoke furniture to domestic and commercial clients which can be made to your specified measurements and needs.
We are a small friendly team, who have been working together since 1987 in the upholstery trade, before establishing Delford House Designs together in 2001.
Our precision and eye for detail ensures that we produce only the finest quality furniture.
Our finest hardwood frames are individually crafted together using screws, glue and doweled joints to form the base of a solid frame.
We then build up the upholstery using layers of webbing, canvas and felts. The backs and seats are individually sprung and have a fully coiled mesh top spring unit. All outside areas are lined with canvas and fibre. All furniture can be finished with various options, flat valance, border, frills and hand pleated skirts or various leg finished options including metal or polished wood. Many customers require different levels of comfort, so we offer various cushion interior options including feather, feather and down, down and feather, feather wrap, fibre, comferol and qualofil, depending on your preference.
